We’ve had the privilege of working on a wide range of rewarding and challenging stone and lime renovation projects. Below is a small selection of our recent work.
Render Removal
In addition to render removal, we also completed the repair and renovation of stonework, cutting out, repointing and restoring to it’s original beautiful condition. As Lime Specialists, this is important work that demands experience.
Grade 1 Listed Manor House
A major project to replace stone chimney stacks, replace damaged stone and repoint all in Lime Mortar.
Game Keeper Cottage
A major piece of work on a gamekeeper’s cottage. As you will see from the images this was a significant stone renovation, repair and repointing project. Click on the images to see the scale of work involved and how this demonstrates the intricacies of being a Stone and Lime Specialist.
Early Tudor Manor House
An old Manor House dating back to 1500’s and the early Tudor times. Partially destroyed in 1540 and some work undertaken to remove and replace brickwork and carry out repointing.
Render Removal
Another project where we have removed render from a property, repaired stonework where necessary and carried out repointing to restore the beautiful stonewrok apearance.
Country Estate Project
Nestled in the grounds of an idyllic country estate near Dursley, this project involved the removal of render, replacing stone where necessary and then completing Lime repointing. We also removed and replaced a damaged oak beam.
Church Repairs, Maintenance & Stone Renovation
We are Stone and Lime Specialists and have a wealth of experience and expertise in stone repairs for historic church buildings.
Shipton Oliffe
For this project we used stainless steel rods (called stitching) to support the stonework while also replaceing damaged stone and repointing with Lime Mortar.
Stone Floor Installation
For this project we installed a stone floor on a lime mortar bed and then finnished by pointing in lime mortar.
Retaining Wall, Pillars & Gate Refurbishment
This project in Tutshill involved renovating gate pillars and walls, replacing damaged stone and replacing copings.
Retaining Wall Refurbishment
Another refurbishment of a retaining wall, this time in Soudeley. Damaged stone replaced and repointed.
